Hello All. A friendly reminder that the OPA will be hosting it's 6th annual Spring Consignment sale tomorrow, Saturday 02/22/2020 starting at 8:30 AM with hay/straw sale and small lots and then rolling into a full day of selling with lots and lots of great food all day long. I personally recommend the soft pretzels. The fun of this sale is you could also pick up a manure spreader or two to take home with those soft pretzels! :-) Here are a few photos of the goings on in preparation for tomorrow's sale. As always, the OPA will be conducting our weekly Hay/Straw sale every Friday @ 8:30 AM immediately followed by our weekly Winter Produce sale every Friday @ 9:00 AM.

Hello All. Tomorrow, Friday Feb 14 @ 10 AM the OPA will be conducting the first of three scheduled plug sales. As always, we will be selling hay/straw @ 8:30 AM followed by Winter produce @ 9 and then specialty plug sale @ 10 AM. We are expecting lots of great product at the plug sale from the good folks over at Glick's Greenhouse and a number of local growers as well. Here are some photos. Hope to see you all there.

A few photos of product available/sold at our weekly Friday Winter Auction today 1/17/2020. The Friday winter Auction is new to us at the OPA and there is more product and more variety each week. We have growers planning to build entirely new greenhouses this Summer for Winter production next year! Woop Woooop!

The OPA will be continuing our Friday Winter produce auctions every Friday @ 9 AM immediately following our weekly hay auction which is conducted every Friday @ 8:30 AM. The Winter auction began as an experiment a month ago and has been received well by both our buyers and growers/sellers. I am happy to say that the Winter auction is something we will be continuing and expanding as our growers ramp up production in greenhouse products over the next few years. Hello everyone. Hard to imagine but reality is that 2020 is nearly upon us! To verify that truth, the OPA has printed up our 2020 auction schedule - see attached. Please do remember that we will be conducting Winter produce sales every Friday@ 9 AM this year immediately after the hay/straw sale @ 8:30 AM. Again, each and every Friday. This is a new concept for us - turns out a lot of our growers are already growing items like, carrots, beets, leafy greens of all types, tu...rnips, brussel sprouts, etc in greenhouses throughout the Winter months. We thought we would do a one day a week Winter Auction as well since we have the hay sale going every Friday. So hope to see you on Friday @ 8:30 or 9:00 AM. Our annual Winter meeting is scheduled for Jan 7 - schedule attached as well. Always an interesting time with guest speakers and lot of discussion about produce growing techniques, etc. All welcome. We have another 200 Douglas to add to the tree count for Christmas sale tomorrow @ 10 AM. We also have a tree baler just to make things interesting - everybody should have at least 1 in their living room! :-) Here are a few photos - wreathes started showing up this afternoon! See you all soon!

The OPA's second and final Christmas sale of the 2019 season is coming up this Friday 12/6/19 @ 10AM. We are expecting lots of fun products again just like our first sale. Confirmed for sale: 300 fresh cut Frazer from 4’- 12’ and 25 Douglas 6’-10’ and 25 concord 6’ - 10’ and a few more mix’s blues. 100 -20 lb bales Frazer, 100 - 20 lb bales Concord, berries, vines, wreathes, crafts, etc. etc. The day starts with hay/straw sale @ 8:30 AM followed by produce @ 9:00 AM and then the Christmas sale @ 10:00AM. Look forward to seeing you all there!

A very Happy Thanksgiving to one and all of our Oxford Produce Auction friends. A quick "programming" note: The auction schedule will now be Friday only from here on through the Winter until next Spring. We will continue our weekly Hay/Straw sale every Friday at 8:30 AM throughout the Winter season and we will sell greenhouse produce such as broccoli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, etc as those products are available every Friday immediately after the hay/straw sale - roughly at 9 AM every Friday. We will be conducting a sale tomorrow Friday November 29 for all you nontraditional Black Friday shoppers! :-) Happy Thanksgiving everyone. - Dave (for the OPA)

Hello All. Hard to believe we are heading into the Winter season already. Hope everyone stays warm out there! FYI, the OPA has two Christmas sales scheduled this year. Friday Nov 22 and Friday Dec 6 - both sales start @ 10 AM. We are expecting lots of wreathes, roping, crafts and some Balsam trees from Canada and Douglas from Northern PA. We will not have Frazers from NC as we have for the past number of years due to a shortage of those trees this year but we expect a lot of other products to make both sales fun and interesting. Hello All. Happy Fall to everyone! The Oxford Produce Auction is going to be changing schedule to Tuesday and Friday sales only starting next week (the week of October 28). So next Thursday 10/31 there will be no sale at the OPA. The schedule will be Tuesday and Friday sales only from here on through end of season or until further notice. Will be posting here on Christmas Tree sales as soon as trees are confirmed.
