I received a surprise phone call Saturday, November 7th from a young lady at my home VFW Post#8488, to meet her. I did and she presented me a check for my Special Project, VALOR Clinic Foundation, Paul's House in the amount of $300. Thank you very much Emily Thank you for all you do for our Veterans!

We are all sad about not being back in our VA Hospitals. Hospital Chairman Linda Dilling has a message for us with a few ideas. Thank you Linda!

Please do not let your Membership dues lapse. If you are struggling, reach out and talk to your Auxiliary President or Officer to let them know. This is why we have Relief Funds. Blues for VALOR event October 31st. Raising money for VALOR Clinic Foundation at the West-End Fairgrounds We set up a membership/informational booth with Buddy Poppies, Flags some Patriotic friends with candy bags and lots of them! Extra hands to assist with VALOR. Went to support my Special Project, VALOR Clinic Foundation, Paul's House! Thank you very much to all who donated candy and/or assisted in any way!

Auxiliary Members of VFW Post#509 in District#20, located in Tobyhanna, PA made 90 handmade Thinking of You cards. Auxiliary President, Bonnie Walraven; Treasurer, Marion Jolly; and Sr Vice President, Donna Kimmel presented the cards to Louis Smyth at the Wilkes-Barre VA. They will be distributed throughout the VA. The Auxiliary members stated, "We just want our Veterans to know we are thinking of you." Keep up the great work! There is no doubt our Veterans will smile after receiving a handmade card Thank you for sharing your project!

Official Visit to District#16. We met many new members, some brand new to the Auxiliary and some we have never had the pleasure to meet before now. Ran into Past District President, Mary Boe and enjoyed everyone's company Thank you Donna Wyse and District#16 for the Warm Welcome and the Hospitality shown to myself and my Chief of Staff, Carolyn! Thank you for all you do!
