Took advantage of a gloomy Sunday to get out to the range and put a few rounds through the new Marine Corps service pistol, the M18, with @girving143 . This is the Corps’ first new pistol in 35 years! Replacing the M9 Beretta as the standard sidearm of the USMC. Started Friday off right with these warriors for some morning PT. As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes (Candidate @joshhybl wanted to do 40 minutes...) of 5 Pull-ups, 9 Push Ups, and 12 crunches. I lost count but let’s say @sam_vale39 and @joshhybl won. We followed that up with an impromptu hip-pocket class on the Battle of Marathon (490 BC). Now these future warfighters can tell you all about it. Semper Fi!
