I am celebrating 4 years in our current studio space and 15 YEARS IN BUSINESS this month!!! 2005-2020 Starting a business from scratch as a female with no blueprint for success was scary and intimidating. But I had a VISION. I knew exactly how I wanted it look, down to the paint color, vibe, and equipment layout. ... People around me that had influence thought I was crazy! My college professors said it couldn't be done. They said there was no way I could carve out a niche for Pilates and do personal training only in that area without offering a myriad of other Fitness modalities. Well, they were wrong - and still are! I knew that my training as a Pilates instructor was going to carry me into a career that would totally sustain me. And it did! I wasn't trying to be overconfident I just knew I had a drive and a passion within me to create a space in my community for women to come and receive Pilates training that they would never be able to get anywhere else. I've learned from some of the best Master teachers and have received the greatest mentoring and instruction over my 19 years of learning. That is the key. Never stop learning. Seek wise women who know more than you. Stay close to them. Glean more knowledge every day. I'm grateful for your loyalty and support over all these years! When a client needs hamstring exercises the first thing we do is try to individualize the exercise to the clients needs. We try them out in our own bodies first, think about the cues, think about the set ups, and how we’re going to teach it to the client at their next session. We know our clients well. We customize.
