Our 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held next month on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:00AM. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this meeting will be held virtually, and the meeting details will be distributed as we approach that date. Among other important club discussions, the meeting will see the election of a new President/CEO, Secretary/COO, and 2 General Directors to sit on our Board. ... Thank you to everyone that came out and made our annual Golf Outing a continued success! Each year this October weekend is normally full of Forge festivities! Following our Friday Golf Outing, we typically re-gather at the pitch Saturday for a day packed with Forge home matches followed by post-game celebrations at Ruggers Pub! Then, Sunday morning, we are back at the pub for a club brunch. (Brunch still available tomorrow at 11!). As we know, this is no normal year, and alth...ough we couldn’t make a full weekend of it, you were all still there. We can’t thank you enough and, as always, we are humbled by the support of our Forge family. Thank you one and all. We can’t wait until next year! Special thanks to Philomena's Catering for supplying all our meals, and naturally Black Hawk Golf Course for hosting us!

The Forge is accepting applications for two of our General Director positions to serve 2-year terms on the Forge's Board of Directors, with the incumbents' current terms set to expire in January 2021! General Directors are not required to be current or past members or the Forge, but rather individuals with expertise, knowledge, or skill in various areas (which may or may not include rugby). Interested applicants should apply by emailing [email protected] with profes...sional and/or rugby resumes, and a short narrative detailing their interest in seeking the General Director position. All applications must be received by email by end of day on Monday November 30th, 2020. The Forge's Nominations Committee will review all applications, and recommend no more than 4 candidates to the Forge Membership prior to the January 2021 Annual General Meeting. The Membership will then vote on the 4 candidates to occupy the two available positions. Any questions about the position can be directed to [email protected]
