In light of the closures in Philadelphia, & because we understand that these closures have impacted our competitors, we have decided to postpone the remainder of the Burn Series. The Winter Burn at PRG Oaks & Wyncote will now be held on January 23rd. The new dates for the remaining events will be announced when we have them. Burn Series Pass holders & current Winter Burn Competitors: You will keep your time slot. All of the remaining events will still follow our new Covid-fr...iendly format, featuring time slots with a maximum of 25 competitors per time slot. While we've seen that this format is extraordinarily effective, we feel that postponing the remainder of the Series allows all of us to navigate the uncertainty of the shutdowns & all its various impacts. Dear members and friends, After much deliberation, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close all PRG facilities effective Monday, March 16, for the duration of the state's recommended closure period. In light of the increased mitigation efforts in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Bucks counties, and out of an abundance of caution, we feel it is in the best interest of our community to stand in solidarity with the growing number of small businesses who have made... the same difficult decision. We believe that this is the best way to protect our communities from the risk of the coronavirus during this rapidly evolving situation. We apologize for the inconvenience that this causes, and thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this crisis. We want to assure you that we are working tirelessly to navigate this delicate and difficult situation, and to the best of our ability protect the health and wellbeing of our communities, our climbers, and our employees, especially those most adversely affected by this crisis. For all small businesses, closures like this have a devastating impact, most notably to employees who depend on us for their livelihood. We intend to continue to compensate our existing staff to the best of our ability during this closure. And, we would humbly ask you, our members, to consider that every dollar we receive from our membership will go directly to ensuring that we minimize the financial burden on those who depend on us for their income. That said, we do acknowledge the inconvenience to you, and would like to offer our members an additional two weeks on the end of their contract, to make up for this time that we are closed.
