To all my friends out there and I feel blessed that there are many, I have to share with you a journey that Chrissy and I are on, it's been a difficult one but with the support of many I am going to get thru this. Last October while in North Carolina with my good friend John Tierno, My medical issues began, it was the last day of the grand. With the help of John and Mary and 4 others that I don't even know, the van was loaded quickly and John and I were on our way back to P...ennsylvania. I needed to get home to my Chrissy and didn't want her to worry with me checking into a hospital down there and be so far away. God got me this far, he was going to get me home to her. The day after getting home we went to the emergency room where I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. We have had 2 operations since and I am about to embark on chemo therapy which will follow with the removal and replacement of my bladder. I write this not for you to be sad for me but to inform. I am going to beat this hands down. The trap shooting community consist of some of the best people I ever met..The kindness and friendship that you have shown Chrissy and I over the past 5 years has been humbling. I am very grateful to all for the support of many and I know with confidence and with the support of the most amazing woman on the planet, I got this. Hope to see everyone late summer is the goal. God Bless you all, Marty

Marty had his surgery today. It’s been extremely difficult with the issues of corona19. I talked to his surgeon. Was a tough operation but we made it. I hope to see everyone in Wisconsin. But my care for him will come first. Thank you for all your support. Be well all our friends we miss you and love you dearly.
Just an update to the journey Im on, it's been 3 weeks since my last chemo which my treatment was referred to as the equivalent of a nuclear bomb, I am still feeling the effects but day by day it is getting better. The good news is that the bomb has worked and my status has been changed to cancer free. By the grace of God the desease has been defeated. I still have to go thru a bladder replacement, the damage is done but we will win at that also. Too many people to thank, ...first and foremost God Almighty. My love to all Marty
With all of our strength and positive we Marty and I pray to see everyone that has supported us and blessed us with kindnesses. Thank you
