Attention Plum Borough Residents, Please be advised that we do not solicit donations by phone or door to door. Our annual fund drive is done by mail only. If you receive any phone call asking you to donate to the fire department, it is a scam. Do not give them your credit card or bank account information.

A great night celebrating Larry and Mike getting their 15 year lifetime membership! Then celebrating Chris, Levi, Jon, and Andy going through all their essentials! Great job by all and thank you for your dedication to our Dept.

When streets get plowed, its easy/common for snow to get pushed onto fire hydrants and potentially block/bury them. Please help out your local fi...re departments by taking a few minutes to help clear a fire hydrant near your home. .

Today four of our members attended the final step in a very long process. They have been attending modules for Essentials of Firefighting and today they took the final step. Today they attended the live structure burn session. All four have successfully passed all the modules, live burn, and now are Interior firefighters. We can not be more proud of these guys and what they have accomplished. Keep up the good work guys!

Last night for drill we had a couple of members finishing up their Mod 4 test getting ready for the live burn this weekend. So the remainder of people took the time to go over SCBA familiarization with our Junior Fire Fighters.

The Officers and members of the Renton Vol. Fire Department would like to send our sincere condolences to the Aspinwall Fire Dept and the Vanevery family for the loss of a brother FF. Rest In Peace

Tonight crews spent the evening putting our station back together after having our floors redone. We had an epoxy put down with anti skid agent in it to avoid the slip hazard. Everyone was glad to be back in the station! Thank you to Plum EMS for their assistance during this process.
