Benton, PA Hi, my name is Apple! I’m looking for someone to adopt me and give me a home to call my own with my own Hooman! I have been waiting for a LONG time. Casey says it’s because I have a lot of strikes against me, but she said she is gonna work hard to help me! I don’t think anyone wants me because I’m a little older 7-8 maybe ?? I can’t remember, but I act a lot younger...I am getting help from my rescue friends for heartworm...I’m almost done so don’t worry about ...that! ...one other thing, not a biggie either....I’m blind in one eye...it wasn’t my fault... I was protecting my old owner from some bad people and I got stabbed in the eye....then one day I got lost because he didn’t keep me safe. Even though I loved him and protected him, he left me at the dog shelter. He called and told them I was his, and how I came to lose my sight in one eye. I waited and waited and it was really scary there, but he never came for me....he NEVER came for me I tried to protect him with my life! ...but Casey said he wasn’t worth protecting, and she brought me up North on a LONG bus ride...then I saw snow for the first time out my good eye! It was fun! I ran around and played in it! She gives me lots of hugs and kisses and keeps whispering in my ear There is someone out there for you Apple...just you wait, you will have someone to love you and care for you soon! ....but I see her sigh as she scratches the good side of my face and turns away. IS there someone like she says???? I hope she is right. I’m waiting here till she finds me someone special! I don’t mind other dogs as long as they don’t get in my face.... Bobbie from SC called me a bubble dog ....but I would REALLY love to have a Hooman all to myself! I’m a good girl! I don’t go potty in my space, I eat all my food and don’t waist none! PUPDATE: ADOPTED! Milo has adoption interest. He is not arriving until 9th of January. If he does become available by some chance we will repost. Thank you! Milo’s family didn’t want him anymore - he grew up to be too big. He was tethered to keep from knocking the little kids down and bothering the family. The niece of Milo’s family wanted the best life possible and found Rescue Pets Serving Vets. ... He is sweet, gentle, so soft and loving. He seems out affection and just wants to be around ppl. He is dog friendly and likes children - has not been around cats so unknown. Milo will be in Benton PA soon - please email to inquire
