Last week was the 5th Anniversary of forming MAP. Looking back, we have had great successes because of all of you! In terms of paddling, we have averaged 30 o...utings per year, 10 participants each. And we have done lots of volunteer work, esp. at Van Voorhis Landing, Table 9 dock, and Star City Riverfront. Thank you! A number of you have asked how you can purchase our MAP shirts and hats. Now is your chance! Our MAP On-line Apparel Store at BeeGraphix in Fredericktown, PA is now OPEN for your use, and will stay open for about TWO WEEKS, until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 30. I will send out two reminders before the store closes. The link is: https://map2020.itemorder.com/ With a few shown below, the items are of high quality, folding neatly with no "skijawing" (phonetic spelling). Mine having been washed/dryer-dried many times and they still look like new. The variety of men’s and women’s shirts come in 100% cotton, 50:50, or quick dry, depending on style. A number of colors are available, seen by clicking on Colors under each shirt/hat. The cotton shirts shrink a little, and the short-sleeved quick dry shirts run a bit big, so choose sizes appropriately. The colors do not run. Prices are VERY reasonable! You pay on-line, so MAP does not have to handle any money or stockpile shirts ahead of time. To save you shipping costs, I will pick up the orders when completed, usually a few weeks after the store closes, and bring them to Morgantown. I will give them out on our paddling trips, or arrange for pickup at my home.
