Robinson Township Police Department 05.11.2020

In an effort to reduce crimes of opportunity, the Robinson Township Police Dept would like to remind ALL RESIDENTS to lock the doors to your vehicle at all times as well as to remove all valuables (including keys) from inside your vehicle. Also, please try to refrain from leaving your garage doors open. Officers working the midnight shift observed a suspicious male last night carrying a backpack in the area of Silver Lane and Ellen Dr. He fit the description of suspect ...who was entering cars in the South Hills area a couple weeks ago. We ask that if you see any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity please don't hesistate to dial 911. Also, if anyone's security cameras captured the suspect last night around 3:20 a.m., please feel free to share those pics with our department. They can be sent to the following email addresses. [email protected] or [email protected] Thank you for your cooperation.

It is with deep sadness that the Robinson Township Police Dept announces the passing of retired officer Robert Bob Monyak. Uncle Bob, who he was known by many of the younger officers, was a 1966 graduate of Montour HS. Upon graduation, he joined the US Navy and served 3 tours in the Vietnam War. Bob was a dedicated fireman for the Forest Grove and Groveton Volunteer Fire Depts. He retired in 2009 after serving for 25 years. Thank you for your service to Robinson Twp. May you R.I.P.
