K9 Jimy Memorial Shirts Are Now Ready For Order! The shirt manufacturer has pledged to donate all proceeds to the Ross Police K9 Unit! You can purchase your shirt here: https://barbellsandbadges.com/produc/k9-jimy-memorial-shirt On October 30th 2017, K9 Jimy and Officer Allenbaugh began their patrol career together. In the less than 3 years K9 Jimy actively served Ross Township he had over 200 K9 usage deployments that resulted in the location and arrest of suspects o...r seizure of evidence, as he and his partner were doing their part to protect the local community and surrounding areas from dangerous persons and drugs. K9 Jimy loved his work, whether it was his daily tour of duty, a training day or a demonstration, K9 Jimy always gave it his all. Suddenly on September 8th 2020 K9 Jimy refused to eat. Officer Allenbaugh was very concerned and took K9 Jimy to the vet. After a long night of waiting and testing it was found that K9 Jimy had torsion of the spleen. The following day September 9th 2020, K9 Jimy underwent surgery to remove his spleen. The surgery went well and he was moved to recovery. It was at that point things took a sudden down turn. While in recovery K9 Jimy’s condition quickly deteriorated, he was rushed back into surgery and despite the efforts of some of the best veterinary doctors and surgeons in the Western Pennsylvania area K9 Jimy was not able to be saved. Jimy’s passing has left a devastating void not only with his handler but to the Ross Police K9 program, the department and the entire community. Thanks to Barbells and Badges, K9 Jimy will still surely be missed by so many, but never forgotten. All proceeds will benefit the Ross Township Police K9 Unit. I want to personally thank everyone who purchases a memorial shirt to honor my Hero, K9 Jimy. Officer Justin Allenbaugh Ross PD
