Man we re really proud of our spring garden this year. It’s looking like a hall of fame kind of year. Just think if you’ve ever bought stuff from us at the market or joined our farm share program, you helped make this. Good job everyone!

Well we normally call these chickens but I guess this year we’ll be calling them the frontlines in our battle to protect our fruit trees from the cicadas. We’ve got our mobile coops plopped right here in the middle of our fruit orchard and we pity the foolish cicada that thinks they’ll emerge to wreak havoc on our trees! 750 hens just waiting for a tasty, protein-heavy snack! Bring on the plague! We re ready!

See you at Cumberland market tomorrow! We'll have turnips and cilantro (pictured here), as well as kale mix, lettuce mix, ramps, and of course our delicious meats!

Tomorrow is the first Frostburg market of the season! 9:30 - 1pm at City Place on Water St! We won’t have any of the things in this pic. But just imagine there’s piles of salad mix, kale, arugula and spinach instead! ‘Cause that’s what we’ll have. Can’t wait to hang out with y’all!

We'll be set up on the pedestrian mall in downtown Cumberland every Thursday from 9:30am til 1pm STARTING THIS WEEK!

This is a water hydrant. To you, maybe this is the most boring social media post we could publish. But if you have ever hauled bucket after bucket of water from the outside to the inside of the barn all winter long for 8 years and running, this hydrant that we recently installed in the downstairs of our barn represents a whole new chapter of ease and comfort.
