This is the first class on my video library that was recorded in a location other than my sunroom at home! It was so much fun to get out of the house and into a... studio for a change. The Yin Yoga Classes on Tuesdays at 11:30 am will be on a short hiatus. The classes will begin again with Katie Nixon teaching on Tuesday July 20. Then Renee Hill will pick them up back up in August. Check www.schoolhouseyogastudio.com for class updates!

Cases of COVID-19 continue to surge and new restrictions have been put in place by our Governor. Due to the new restrictions, all in-studio classes are canceled at least until January 4th, and maybe longer. There are several classes next week that will be offered on Zoom - Monday with Terry Seth at 4 pm, Tuesday with Terry Seth at 9:30 am, Tuesday with Katie Nixon at 11:30 am, Wednesday with Katie Adiutori at 9 am, Wednesday with Kris Gosnell at 4 pm, and Wednesday with Katie Adiutori at 6 pm. To register, go to our website. Stay safe and healthy through the holidays. We will get through this and I believe we’ll be changed for the better because of it. We have all learned to be grateful for what we have right now, because we never know if we will lose it. Take care.

Since we have had to close the studio due to COVID-19 mandates, here are some great ways to continue to stay healthy and calm. Plus it feels so good when you are done! They are great to do first thing in the morning or right before bedtime after a shower or soak! Take care and be safe!

A gift certificate for yoga classes is the perfect present for that someone who has been wanting to try yoga or someone who currently takes classes! The consistent practice of yoga will improve flexibility and strength as well as help manage the stress and the challenges we have all been struggling with this year. An important message for our students... Due to the recent Pennsylvania Department of Health mandate, we are requiring masks to be worn at all times in the studio as well as during class. We are continuing to offer in-studio classes, but are reducing the number of students to 6 instead of 8, to give more space between everyone. Thank you to those who have supported the studio for the past 8-9 months. It has been a challenging time, but we all know how important the practice of yoga is to our physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It seems we may be seeing a very small light at the end of the tunnel. We hope that we all can stay healthy and safe for ourselves and our family in the coming months. Have a peaceful Thanksgiving and take care.

The Pilates classes have been canceled for the remainder of the year. We will hopefully be able to offer them again later in the new year.
