12 Days of Wellness Series beginning December 12. Come join us online and follow along for our #12daysofwellness series for daily simple wellness tips. Each day leading to Christmas Eve we will post and add on a daily exercise and nutrition tip to end off 2020 as your STRONGEST self! Daily posts will begin December 12. Day 5 Eat more Protein! Meats and fish, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, milk, eggs, certain beans, tofu, nuts and seeds (in moderation due to high fat content), whey/soy protein drinks and bars (if needed, but watch for added sugar).
Day 4 Cardio! Fats are high in calories. 1 gram is equal to 9 calories! That's more than double that of carbs! Eat less and eat the good stuff. We need healthy fats to cushion our organs and joints, brain function and for absorption of certain vitamins.
Day 3! Sugar. Mmmmm. Every 4 grams of sugar Is a teaspoon! That's a lot of sugar in a soda! Divide the total grams in your soda by 4, that's how many teaspoons you are drinking. Work on decreasing your daily sugar intake. You will feel so much better!
Day 2 for the 12 Days of Wellness! Working on those Squats and drink Water!
