This site is the remains of a few blast furnaces from the city's steel making days that were left in disarray when the industry collapsed. The Rivers of Steel heritage foundation came in, saved what remained, and transformed it into a historical site, saving a bit of Pittsburgh's steel making history for the generations.... This tour is only available in the summer months and is one of the highlights that we think makes Pittsburgh great. Do you have any Summertime Exploring planned?

The #10YearChallenge was SO last month. Now that it's June, it's all about the 100 Year Challenge. This #throwback to one of our largest projects of 2018 is one for the History Books... Literally! ... You can't deny, it's changed quite a bit! However, it says a lot about this neighborhood that even after 100 years, people still want to live here.

Do you have plans this weekend? You bet I do! The Pittsburgh Taco Festival is happening this Saturday and I already have my stretch pants set aside. ... It will be making its stop at Highmark Stadium with two sessions. The afternoon session will last from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. and the evening session from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of live music and cultural marketplace while exploring the flavors of tacos from the region’s best food trucks and restaurants. Throwback Thursday!!! #TBT to one of our favorite projects! Our goal with this project was to update the property with modern amenities while maintaining its vintage charm. I don't know if I'd rather spend my days sipping tea on this insane front porch or cuddling up with coffee and a book in the massive bay window. ...
