Sight & Sound Theatres Brings the Bible to Life! and fosters an employee culture of trust, dedication, and excellence. The Inventory/Laundry Technician is responsible for completing all laundry tasks for raw materials, controlling inventory management of raw materials and associated receiving paperwork, and managing the raw materials cataloging and storage process. Responsibilities Include: - Organize and complete laundry tasks for all raw materials. This will involve mov...ing, lifting, and handling bolts and rolls of fabrics. - Monitor raw materials receiving, complete PO documentation, and track outstanding orders. - Maintain warehousing system for rolled fabrics and trims, including complete documentation for item inventory system. Maintain the physical storage plan and general upkeep of fabric warehousing. - Assist with maintaining the digital fabric catalog. - Work directly with area buyer, designers, technical team, shipping and receiving clerk, and production team supervisor. - All other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Experience with an inventory management system; retail ordering/restocking experience is helpful - Knowledge of textiles, with some garment construction or sewing background, is necessary - Highly organized and able to accurately manage detailed documentation/paperwork - Basic competency in Excel and Word is required - Able to self-manage time and tasks efficiently - Demonstrated ability to provide clear and timely communication with team members - Proactive in planning and be able to anticipate needs of teams - Physical endurance; able to maintain a consistent level of physical activity during the work day - Able to work a set schedule of 4-5 days (M-F) each week with hours between 7:00am5:00pm
