Renowned musician Ross Bellenoit features his full band and special guest Brittany Ann in this streaming concert from Philadelphia's historic Turtle Studios. After making his mark touring the world as an electrifying guitarist, the prolific songwriter and record producer has slowly built acclaim as a moving storyteller. Suggested ticket price $15, all donations welcome: Venmo @Ross-Bellenoit or paypal.me/rossbellenoit Bellenoit has also been a creative force in funk-fusion tr...io Muscle Tough, indie-rock outfit Arc Divers, country-rockabilly favorites The Sweetback Sisters, and backing a very long list of solo artists (Amos Lee, Lizanne Knott, Joseph Parsons, Birdie Busch, Madalean Gauze). This is Bellenoit's first major concert since the summer release of his album "Where Does The Light Go?" his fourth full-length album of original songs and ninth album overall. Both the album and this concert feature Jaron Olevsky (Amos Lee) and drummer Chuck Staab (Melody Gardot), each an accomplished music director in his own right. Ross Bellenoit’s solo songs are full of tasteful pop melodies and solid guitar playing ... the softer, laid-back nature of his vocals creates a warm juxtaposition to his crisp string work. Songwriter’s Monthly Brittany Ann was dazzling folk-Americana audiences at Godfrey Daniels with her voice and songwriting before she'd even completed high school. She will open tonight's concert with a set of her own new original songs, then also join in for part of Bellenoit's set. "One part Joni Mitchell and one part Natalie Merchant-- the perfect combination of acoustic soul and ethereal melodies" The Express Times
