Local 19 is out in front of the Roger Wilco on Rt 73 in Palmyra, NJ with Scabby the Rat and a banner. This is to inform the community that Hutchinson who is performing sheet metal work on premises at Roger Wilco isn't paying the area wages and standards. When workers aren't paid the area wages and standards it hurts all of us. It continues to erode the already fragile middle class, workers can't put money back into our communities/local economies, and we all suffer in the lo...ng run. Onsite: Organizer Bob Gadsby, Members Michele Daniels & Ron Wilson Jr, with Business Agent Luke Gordon (taking the picture). #local19 #banner #ScabbyTheRat #WagesandStandards #RogerWilco #PayWorkersWhatTheyDeserve #WeAre19

Local 19 supports Joe Biden because he has a clear record of supporting union workers. Where Donald Trump has a clear record of going against workers and unions time and time again. Last year the Trump administration tried to destroy our apprenticeships by significantly watering down the standards for registered construction programs. That will never happen under a Biden administration. Biden will sign the PRO Act which strengthens organizing and will repeal Roght to Work (f...or less) laws. Trump "likes Right to Work" and will sign a National Right to Work bill if it reaches his desk. Biden values the contribution which union workers have given to our nation and recognizes that unions are the best way for people to gain access to the middle class. Also, Biden has a real infrastructure and manufacturing plan in place which will focus on union workers rebuilding our country. Trump has been promising investment in infrastructure and manufacturing for over 4 years now. He has delivered nothing but broken promises. For these reasons and so many more, Local 19 supports Joe Biden and asks all our members, family and friends to vote Biden. #local19 #vote #JoeBiden #BidenHarris #BidenHarris2020 #SMART #NABTU #GOTV #WeAre19

Local 19 members were out all over our territory again this morning to perform literature drops for our endorsed candidates who fight for working people and their interests. New Jersey to Central PA and everywhere in between, Local 19 gets out the vote! A huge thank you to Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro for stopping by our Union Hall today to speak to members who were walking for Biden, him, and State Reps Delloso and O'Mara. We greatly appreciate your time and all the hard work you have been doing on behalf of the hard working people of the Commonwealth. #local19 #GOTV #VOTE #Vote2020 #RidinWithBiden #BidenHarris2020 #SMART #NABTU #PAunion #NJunion #WeAre19

Shouldn’t the National Labor Relations Board be working for workers? Trump took away protections for workers during pandemic. That's why Local 19 supports Joe Biden. Keep your safety in mind Nov. 3.

Local 19 Apprentice Marlana Jost and her husband Rob, who is a Local 332 Laborer. Both working at the Penn First site in Philadelphia. In Marlana's own words: "I can honestly say that the best thing that has happened to us in a long time was BOTH of us joining our UNIONS. Being in the building trades has drastically changed both our lives for the better. Better pay, better hours, better benefits, retirement and all around better quality of living. I for one, come November, k...now how important this election is to myself, my husband and our family. The levers I press will determine food on our table, provisions and time with our 3 children. I am forever grateful to Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers Union and Local 332 Laborers Union for giving us the opportunity to better our lives!! Keep the trades alive and strong! Get out and vote, it matters... " #local19 #SMART #NABTU #LIUNA #VOTE #Vote2020 #WeAre19

An important message from SMART General President Sellers.

Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 15.07.2020

Just the facts. That's what Local 19 bases support for any candidate on, the facts. And the fact is that the past four years have not worked out so well for workers under the Trump administration. A weakened OSHA, anti-union federal judge and prosecutor appointments, and a National Labor Relations Board which works against workers' best interests, not for them. Joe Biden will expand worker protections, the right to organize, restore our picketing rights to where they once wer...e, and appoint judges, prosecutors and a Labor Board who will work for us, not the fat cats. Party has nothing to do with it. Just the facts. #local19 #VOTE #Vote2020 #BidenHarris2020 #JustTheFacts #WeAre19
