These are just some of the toys at Uniontown Central firehouse this evening, all collected by Fayette County firefighters. Once again, we at South Brownsville Fire Company were honored to take part. A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated toys! The spirit of giving is alive and well, pandemic be damned!

It's been a horrible year for many families, but I'll be damned if this pandemic is going to kill the spirit of Christmas and the joy of giving to help others! We know we can do this! Reach down deep and help some children to have a toy for Christmas. There is STILL TIME, but it's getting close. We need you NOW! You've seen us through this mess so far, please don't stop now. Ok, friends! We are down to less than one week! Please help us to make an already challenging holiday season a little brighter for local children. PLEASE donate new, unwrapped toys for our TOYS FOR TOTS drive! Toys may be dropped off at our firehouse on Water St or message us to make other arrangements. We know we can do it again this year!

A very busy couple weeks for the South Brownsville Fire Company.. In between the usual runs and fundraisers, the Engine and Tower Ladder assisted Company 5 with a vacant building fire with heavy fire throughout. Engine 6 secured a secondary water supply while the Tower Ladder’s Stang gun was put to work.
