The Pennsylvania Brittany Club

The January meeting of the PA Brittany Club will be virtual on 1/17/2021. The Board of Directors will meet at 7:00PM and the membership to follow at 8:00. A couple months ago we posted a letter from club president, Vic Mazzocchi, requesting donations to help the club make some needed repairs to the club grounds. We have reached our goal! Thank you all!!!

WOW! We did it! Our fall 2020 field trial is in the books. The committee breathed a sign of relief as the last brace in a 30+ dog open gun dog stake came into the parking lot on Sunday afternoon. Many, many thanks to our trial secretary, Dennis Sloan and chairman, Rick Johnson, and especially our judges who spent many hours in the saddle! It was another spectacular weekend to be outside with dry cool weather and beautiful fall colors. Just one more event, the November 22 chukar hunt, and we can start looking forward to our 2021 event calendar. More information about the chukar hunt to come soon. Following is the bracing for the PA Brittany Club fall field trial October 10 & 11. Our sincere thanks to Meredith Mays for stepping in to judge the OLGD when the advertised judge was unable to attend. All those attending need to remember that the trial is large and it's extremely important to be on time and ready to run when your brace is up. Fall color is on full display at the grounds and it should be a beautiful weekend for a trial!

It was a perfect weekend to run dogs October 3 & 4 when we hosted our fall walking trial! Thank you to all those that made it a success. A special shout out to our trial chairman & secretary Dan Dodson and Samantha James who did a first class job running their first trial!! Looking forward to more of the same this weekend.

The bracing for the walking trial this weekend is below. We enjoy entertaining those attending our events but, due to COVID-19 restrictions, that will not be possible this fall. Please remember to bring your own food and beverages. Safe travels all!

Premiums for both PA Brittany Club trials are now on the club web site. The trials are filling quickly so be sure to contact the trial secretaries Samantha James and Dennis Sloan ASAP if you’d like to enter.
