PennDOT’s northwest District 1, with assistance from Gannett Fleming and Traffic Planning and Design, has launched the second phase of the Northwest Bike Study to gather further input from cyclists who live in or visit in Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties, and we are asking if you would please participate. Feedback can be given through an online map and via a short survey. We are asking that you take the time to check out both options and to give inp...ut both ways by June 8, 2020. The information you provide is very important and will assist us in improving our services and identify possible issues related to bicycling within northwest Pennsylvania. To give feedback, visit www.penndot.gov/NorthwestBikeStudy or go to the PennDOT District 1 website, www.penndot.gov/District1, and click on the banner for the Districtwide Bike Study. For mobile users, maps are accessible by clicking View larger map. The survey is open to anyone who lives, works, or travels in the six-county region covered by District 1. We would appreciate your assistance in spreading the word about the survey to your friends, acquaintances, and colleagues by forwarding this email or sharing our Facebook post. When you visit the post, it will ask you to approve or decline seeing it on your Facebook timeline. If you approve, you will start to see the ad on your timeline and can share if you would like. If you would prefer to create your own social media post or share information through newsletters or other electronic means, we have attached a graphic that you can use. We suggest the following wording: Pedal on! Give feedback on how and where bicycling conditions should be better in northwest PA. Visit www.penndot.gov/NorthwestBikeStudy . If you experience difficulties accessing any of the survey information maps, or have questions about the study, please contact the Gannett Fleming project planner, Cara Lane at [email protected] or 717-886-5298. For general questions about the study, contact Gannett Fleming project manager Michelle Brummer at [email protected] or 717-886-5295. Thank you in advance for your assistance completing and promoting the survey, as both will help PennDOT District 1 with its goal of providing a transportation system that is safe, efficient, and cost-effective for all users.
