There’s no right or wrong way to do these! I had watched a few videos but most of them wanted me to print out a template, and I don’t have time or toner for that. What I do was fold the card four times with a bit left at the end to make gluing easier. I cut a gable in one side, then used the cut off bits to cut the same gable at the other side of the house. On this house, my cut off bits were used to make trees for each side. A postage stamp is the hidden surprise underneat...h! Happy to answer questions and I’d love to see yours!
Wee fairy house with real birch bark for an awning on the door, a twig of a tree, and made from lovely old Christmas cards. This could hang on the tree, sit on a windowsill or be part of a village.
First time doing wood burning in about 15 years. Can you see Nessie?
