It's a beautiful day in Honesdale to shop the indoor/outdoor #MainStreetFarmersMarket! Bundle up, wear a mask (they keep your nose warm), and we'll see you from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1030 Main Street for fresh and quality Wayne County grown products! Season's Greetings to all of our friends, neighbors and supporters! It's @journeysendfarm's last market appearance, so come and get your maple syrup, cream and candies!

Free student snack packs are being distributed from 11am to 1pm during the Main Street Farmers Market, today, Saturday!

We love the view of the #irvingcliffstar from our pocket park at night. It shines down on the #littlefreelibrary and we hope you all feel the love when you select books for your home. Hello and happy Friday, friends! We know how challenging it’s been for our families and students attending school virtually; and we know first hand that having kids at home = they eat more. We want to help by providing free healthy snacks to students. We had snacks and fruit on hand and ready to go so today a few volunteers came by to bag up 120 student snack bags. You can come tomorrow (Saturday) from 11-1 during our Main Street Farmers Market to pick up a FREE snack bag for your student. See Jenna at The Cooperage Table (nut free options available). These bags are first come first serve. We understand you might not be able to make it by tomorrow so please know we are currently rolling out a plan to work with the school districts on distributing the snacks. Please stay tuned!

Pasta and Meatball Dinner distribution to 70 seniors of Wayne Co and 80 families of Wayne Highlands School District! Another inspiring example of It Takes a Village. Let us tell you about these dinners and all of the wonderful people who helped make this happen. White Stag Farms donated 200 lbs of ground beef which the WHSD cafeteria workers made into 138 DOZEN meatballs. Dave's Super Duper Supermarket donated 100 lbs of pasta. Honesdale FFA and Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau donat...ed fruit for every family and vegetables for every senior. Woodloch Resort lent us their kitchen and staff time to prepare cookies for everyone and then precooked the pasta for us so it was one less step! And, Beach Lake Bakery gave us an incredible deal on hundred of rolls, baguettes, and loaves much of which they donated. Yesterday and today, a few volunteers prepared, packaged, organized, delivered and distributed these holiday meals. Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to our ongoing food relief efforts that support these partnerships and initiatives. When we work together, our impact only multiplies! The Wayne Co Mask Initiative has restocked the lines outside of the Cooperage again for anyone to come and grab free masks if they are in need. The last ones went fast!
