From... the clothing they wear to the aesthetic procedures they receive, there is a cloud of judgement and shame. JLO didn’t help matters when, at 50 and absolutely wrinkle free, said she’s not that person regarding Botox injections. Furthermore making claims that her wrinkle free appearance is the result of topical creams. Well I’m here to tell you that being wrinkle free at that age is a result of way more than Olive Oil! It takes procedures to achieve that look. And there’s no shame. I’m 50 and wrinkle free all because of Botox. I started getting injectables in my 30’s (I was later to the game) when I began to have full blown onset of static lines and wrinkles despite optimal skin care. I then progressed to fillers and in January 2021, I am undergoing plastic surgery to fix my upper and lower eyes (blepharoplasty) and shorten the distance between my nose and top lip (lip lift). There’s no shame. While it would be financially amazing to achieve all of this with topical creams, the reality is that it is just not possible. And we need to stop misleading people to believe it is. You can achieve amazing results with the right injector or surgeon IF that’s what you desire and what makes YOU feel beautiful!
