Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures. Take time to relax and enjoy doing something you love!
One parent of a scholarship recipient who recently gave to the Touchstone Scholarship Fund said, My son now an art major at college was inspired by his time at Touchstone when he took his first ceramics class a few years ago... We love what Touchstone did for him and we’ll continue to donate as we can. Help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 for Touchstone Scholarships: TOUCHSTONECRAFTS.ORG Pictured is a handmade wood-fired mug by Daniel Tomcik, will be available in the Touchstone Gallery Store soon.
This week, we welcomed a great group of interns who were more than willing to jump in (the creek and the studios) to get campus in tip top shape for next week's workshops. Beautiful day for a visit from the kids in summer camp from Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center in Johnstown. Campers (and teachers) enjoyed hands-on projects in ceramics and glass.
