In all phases Safety is a High Priority and homes should be entered into with Precaution My Safety Precautions Include: 1. Knocking on the door 2. Announcing who I am upon entry 3. Examine the 1st room for things like noises, broken windows, sharp or broken objects on the floor, beds, etc.. these things are indicators that need to be included in your report to make the client/lender aware of the status of the home. 4. Mase and/or pocket knife is handy 5. Mask/Gloves/Hand Sanitizer From my experience so far homes located in the Central & Northeast PA area is not so bad in regards to safety. Foreclosed Notices just to name a few and each client have specifics request for each property Our job is to supply reports on the condition of these properties so our clients can know how to move forward on protecting the integrity of their investments. Depending on our reports, the clients may send a Property Preservation company out to do Rehad work. They may send out a maintenance company to weatherize, remove snow or lawn care. They also may locate a Real Estate agent to place the property back on the market. These are all phases that can be in-house with one company or out sourced to a local company.
