Interested in adopting an OTTB? Find all the information you need at this link. Remember, applications should be filled out in full. The more information included and complete references, will allow for a smoother application process. New for 2021 to further expedite your application, your veterinarian reference will be required to write a recommendation that you may attach to your application or simply email to our offices. This will be required and will help cut down on th...e time it takes for us to reference check and wait to hear back from your vet. This recommendation may be a small note on the adopter's care taking skills on the veterinarian's letter head and signed by the veterinarian to be kept on file within our offices. Please be patient with us, most of our staff is working remotely! If you are scheduling a physical appointment, please be advised we are following Covid-19 guidelines and a mask will be required to exit your vehicle. Applicants will only be allowed one additional visitor, who may be a trainer or additional professional or horse person assisting in the adopter's search for a horse. Minors will be allowed one trainer and both parent/guardians to attend. Horses will be shown in a socially distanced environment as well as shown in outside grooming/cross tie areas. If you are picking a horse up, we ask that you remain at your truck and trailer. The link below will include reference links as well as helpful resources for an adopter including request of medical records, submitting a horse update, scheduling shipping, pre-purchase exams and more. *Some links are still being uploaded, please be patient as our staff completes the links, however information is readily available. Only application completed in full will move forward for approval. If your application is not completed in full, we will email you for additional information. Please note, we are experiencing some references not returning our calls. If we are unable to reach your reference in 48-72 hours, we may ask for an additional reference. Captain Carchy (2014, ch gelding standing 16.1-16.2) was rehomed by our organization in 2017 after retiring from racing. During his time here, he was restarted to walk, trot and canter as well as jump small courses and some small cross country fences. He was adopted out, but his adopter lost interest and he was transferred to a new adopter. He was recently returned, requiring an advanced rider and someone familiar with off track thoroughbreds who will keep him in a regular tr...aining program. Captain is sound, has no prior injuries and is smart when given a task- but will absolutely require someone who will dedicate time and attention to detail to his training and riding. Captain is not on our website as of yet. We are currently processing his video. His adoption fee is $250. He is UTD, will be microchipped, etc. Email inquiries to [email protected] Applications available at www.OTTBs.org

Moon Drive is a very special horse who was turned into our program to find the absolute best, forever home. Although trained in a second career (eventing) a he is searching for someone experienced who will keep him on a good schedule with a lot of turn out and scheduled work. Moon is a good boy who is turned out with 4 other like-minded geldings. He has no vices and thrives on alfalfa hay and senior feed. A situation where he is offered unlimited turn out, but offered a stal...l for meals and weather would be ideal. At this time we are requiring applicants inquiring about Moon to schedule an appointment to test ride him to ensure a proper fit. Www.OTTBS.org

Glad To Be Gidget TB, B, F, FOALED APRIL 2, 2017 ( REDEEMED - GIDDY, BY NORTHERN AFLEET ) Approximately 15.2... This is an ADORABLE filly who captures everyone’s hearts! Gidget is waiting for someone to take her to the Hunter ring! Sound with no vices, this little girl loves to be groomed and fussed over. She’s a super sweet filly who was quiet to work in hand yesterday in the arena. She could care less she was away from her friends. Gidget is an easy keeper with no vices. She likes to live out but is also good in the stall. 2021 Thoroughbred Makeover eligible Fee: $500 Www.OTTBS.org Video and additional photos coming soon.
