As TFH Day 2021 is in our rearview, we want to thank everyone who helps us help horses, and especially everyone who helped plan TFH Day in a year when nobody knew the plan for openings, closings or crowd participation. It started with a donation from Cash is King of the Afleet Alex Stud halter, and a raffle led to the story of Afleet Alex’s triple crown campaign in 2005 and the inspirational legacy the colt left behind for all of us. That story and some help from the same fol...ks helped launch Alex’s Lemonade Stand to a level which really does benefit childhood cancer in an impactful way. Connect the dots to our own Nicole Sasse, whose son Leo took us all on a journey we never wanted to embarq and touched our hearts in a way that makes us all want to vaccinate cancer away. Beautiful, curly golden haired kids and beautiful athletic horses are worth a double take as causes worth raising awareness for. And so we close out TFH Day 2021 with a small dent towards aftercare costs and cures, and lots of great memories of a day filled with friends and exciting races ( what is more exciting than a dead heat in one TFH race and a blanket win photo in another for big purses)? We want to thanknour Sponsors from the very first idea for TFH Day, Bob Hutt and Uptowncharlybrown and Diamond B Farm helping us purchase T-shirts for all the participants, Pewter Stable for the hot dog Stand and Lemonade, The PTHA for sponsoring all the Best Turned Out Groom awards along with Parx Racing for hosting and putting on a great showcase fornour retired racehorses.
