Please consider running with this amazing group of student/athletes in one of the most successful sports programs at UHS.

Good luck to our runners today as they race at Albert Gallatin. Race starts at AG High School Stadium at 4. It's a good day to get a PR.
Friday Fun Day!! These athletes keep working hard but also enjoy some fun on a Friday. Hill work up to Jumonville Cross, picture fun, geocaching and pizza afterwards. Cross Country Runners are the BEST!!!
Important info for the rest of the season.
What a race!!! The girls ran with tremendous determination; winning with a score of 19-37. Scoring for the girls were: Grace Trimmer, 1st; Paisley Murtha, 2nd; Hannah Foster, 3rd; Sarah White, 6th; and Joss Rutter, 7th. Samantha Sadler ran to break up a cluster of blue, placing 10th, and causing an increase to LH’s score by interrupting their group. (Scoring is done by adding up the finishing places of the first 5 runners. Our score was 19 = 1+2+3+6+7.) The boys ended up ...with a sweep score, 15-50, because LH did not have enough boys to score the race. Nonetheless, our boys pushed, and pushed hard! LH took 1st and 2nd, our boys took the next 5 places: Cooper Gilleland, 3rd; Lucas Garner, (with a tumble down the hill) 4th; Wyatt Dean, 5th; Trevor Uphold, 6th; and Alex Hawk, 7th. The course at LH is, by runners’ opinions, the toughest in the area. So it is notable when a runner improves their times on the Mustang course, today we had a few: Eli Holp (-0:56); Grace Trimmer (-0:44); Paisley Murtha (-0:04); Joss Rutter (-0:01), Emma Young (-0:11); Samantha Sadler (-2:46!!!!); and Donata Lancaster (-0:47). Congratulations on a race well run. Next week, we take on Albert Gallatin; keep up the great work!
These athletes work hard all week for some Fun Day Friday practice. Friday October 2 will be at Jumonville. Meet at the parking lot at the bottom of the hill leading up to the cross. What can be more fun than running Jumonville hill on a Friday??? Pizza afterwards!!! Practice 4:30-5:30 with pizza following for those that can make it.
