ORIGINAL: Cumberland County is currently experiencing a wide spread telephone company outage affecting multiple counties, including our 9-1-1 AND ten-digit phone lines. Original: Cumberland County residents who need emergency OR non-emergency assistance from fire, EMS and law enforcement services within the county are asked to call one of the following numbers until further notice: If you do not get any answer, please try one of the other numbers listed. DPS will continue to provide updates on this situation and will advise when we are made aware of the phone systems being restored.

Last evening, Companies 23 and 29 were dispatched to South Market Street by Sheetz for a vehicle roll over. Units arrived on scene to find the patient trapped in the vehicle. Patient was extricated in 20 minutes.

On Friday, January 15th, the Line Officers and Administrative Staff were sworn in by Commissioner Jeffery M. Walter.

Tonight, the Upper Allen Fire Police took their oath and were sworn in by Magistrate Martin.
