Happy Hanukkah to all those - in our congregation and community - who are celebrating!
This morning in our worship service for all ages, we let our imaginations wander through sacred darkness. I wonder what your hands were thinking about and making this morning? Go ahead and share in the comments!
We join the Poor People's Campaign in mourning the 257,000 people who have died of COVID-19...lamenting the failed responses to the pandemic....and demanding urgent relief for poor and incarcerated families and all those affected by COVID-19. Add the names of those you are remembering to the virtual Mourning Wall. https://facebook.com/anewppc/videos/3771148552896414/
If you are LGBTQ+ and you are feeling the need to have a legal wedding before the Supreme Court has a chance to make any decisions that may affect your right to get married, we are here for you. Our minister is ready and willing to perform Zoom and socially distanced weddings for LGBTQ+ couples free of charge right now.
Still time to stop by for some Halloween cheer! Get your photo taken in our socially distanced photo booth and pick up some treats...
How is your spirit? Pause to replenish with Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray, leaders from #UUtheVote, and Unitarian Universalists across the world tonight.
Not trick-or-treating tonight? Come by our sidewalk tomorrow (10/31) between 5:30-6:30PM! We'll be waiting for you with treat bags and a photographer to take your family's picture in our photo booth. Happy Halloween!
It has been quite a day. Or month. Or year. This Saturday, let's pause for a little fun.
Need some fortification ahead of this important election? Plan to gather online on election eve to ground yourself in love and to pray, meditate, and sing for your values, alongside Lancastrians of other faith traditions.
A very special thanks to Susan Lithgoe & Michele Capobianco for organizing the letter writing campaign for Votes Forward. Between congregants and friends, 1000 letters were sent! What a great way to show support for democracy! ... 1000 stamps were purchased from our local post office. Remember to vote & support the Post Office!
Join UUs around the country for 45 minutes of laughter, spiritual fortification, education, and invitation to action. Every Monday, now through November 9.
Several people asked about bystander training during coffee hour today. Here's one chance coming up next week, affiliated with UU the Vote.
