Warrington Township Annual Memorial Day Ceremony Warrington’s annual Memorial Day ceremony features tributes to servicemembers, patriotic music, color guard procession, remarks from government officials, and refreshments. Among the speakers at this year’s program will be State Senator Maria Collett, State Representative Todd Polinchock and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick.... Each year, the ceremony includes a recognition of the local veterans whose names are newly engraved on the park’s Warrington War Memorial Wall. The 2021 Memorial Wall honorees are: Lloyd E. Kinzel, Army/Air Force, World War II/Korea; Bonnie B. Kinzel, Army, World War II; Lloyd A. Kinzel, Army, Vietnam; Maryann V. Scarpill, Marines, Vietnam; and Vincent Valinotti, Army, Kosovo (Operation Joint Guardian). At this event, COVID-19 precautions will be followed, including social distancing and hand sanitizing.

Update from earlier: Crews from Warrington and surrounding communities continue to operate into this afternoon and evening. Please use caution around CB South High School as well as on Pickertown Road due to the water tanker shuttle.

Warrington units along our mutual aid partners are currently operating at Winding Brook Farm, off Folly Road, extinguishing a large mulch pile. Units have been operating since 3AM. There will be smoke throughout the township all day.

A Snow Emergency has been declared in Warrington Township. The snow emergency starts at 9:00 AM on Monday February 1, 2021 and ends at 6:00 AM on Tuesday February 2, 2021. The snow emergency declaration requires vehicles to be removed from roadways to assist public works in clearing our streets of snow and ice. This will give our Public Works a chance to get all of our roads cleared. The storm is expected to drop the heavier snow totals today and this evening prompting this... declaration. Total accumulation around 12-18 inches.
