I was and I am still nurturing my craft and growing after 8years. What I also knew was I wanted to help any one new coming into Zumbawho felt passionate about wanting to share and connect with other people through dance, yet they felt overwhelmed with it all. Like say what!? We all have been there, starting from the beginning learning new choreography for an entire playlist, learning how to instruct nonverbally (umm cueing what is that?), having to finding a place to teach, build our first class from scratch or take over another Instructor’s class (Yikes). All of that can be off putting, Luckly Zumba Fitness and ZHO recognized that and developed the Zin Mentor Program. Since ZHO officially approved me as a Mentor 2 1/2 years ago, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some very beautiful people. We have shared our energy, laughter and connected a ZINSTERS. I have see them in the moments when they felt free, felt their excitement of I got it! I did it! Yes I’ve seen their inner passion grow & shine through to the outside and all I’m doing is helping them reach the goals they’ve set themselves as instructors. Why because someone in Zumba Fitness did that for me. Then the moment comes when they are no longer your mentee and you want to CELEBRATE them and this is what this Our #mentormenteenomoretour Zumba Master Class is all about in addition to helping I helping @Zaniyah raise funds for Austism Speaks, But I’m gonna let her tell you about it. ******************************************** About Zaniyah Solis: I took my training with no intentions on being an instructor but I later fell in love with everything about Zumba. I set off on a journey not only to lose weight and feel better about myself but to feel empowered by something I love to do... Dance. I joined the Mentor program and got paired with my AWESOME MENTOR Shannan Reese @zheatshannanree(on IG) it was only then that my career had started to take off as an instructor as I studied her to be the best version of myself.
