This Sunday August 30th at 8am from the Twin Covered Bridges in Forks ( Orangeville address). It's the 3rd annual Freewheelin at Forks Farm. You can still register at www.bikereg.com/45712
FREEWHEELIN AT FORKS FARM Our 8th and final covered bridge to go through is the Joshua Hess Bridge. All of our rides have the option to go through this bridge. You make a right turn at Forks Farm, go through the farm and follow the old road to the bridge. Joshua Hess Bridge is located on Huntington Creek, in Fishing Creek Township, between Forks and Jonestown on Township route 363. The bridge was constructed in 1875 by Joseph Redline at cost of $1349,50. The Hess family owned... a sawmill and farm nearby. This bridge belongs to the Columbia County Covered Bridges Association. You can see all the bridges on our Freewheelin facebook page. FREEWHEELIN at FORKS FARM We are limiting the field to 200 riders. And please wear your face mask in the morning before the ride and when you stand in line to get your lunch. The park at twin bridges is large enough to spread out.... Stay safe and enjoy your riding!! Routes and Registration: www.bikereg.com/45712
Freewheelin at Forks Farm; bridge #7 The 3rd covered bridge along Little Fishing Creek is the Creasyville Bridge, which is located between Jackson and Pine Townships. It is located on Township route 683 north of Millville and Iola. Being located near Iram Derr's sawmill, this bridge, built in 1881 by T.S. Christian for a cost of $301.25, was probably first known as the Derr bridge #unpavedPA #unPAvers #GOTGRIT... #PACyclingGravel #Susquehannagravel #Salsabikes #RailtoTrails See more
