I grew up playing softball and never really knew about disc golf until I got to college. My friends would go to the disc golf course near campus and play a rou...nd or two, never anything too serious. I had always heard how much they enjoyed it, but never felt confident enough to tag along. Around April of this year I finally decided I wanted to give it a try. I only had two discs at the time and put a lot of focus on just understanding how the game worked and what I could do with my arm. From there I was hooked. I did research on discs for beginners/ female beginners, watched Christine Jennings YouTube videos to assist with disc selection and how to work the proper form into my game. I started following the pro tour and looking into local leagues and seeking advice from anyone who is willing to help me improve my game. This had been a great sport during quarantine & in just a few month I have gone from shooting a +15 against the guys to hitting in the - and even beating some of them who have been playing on and off for years.
