On Veterans Day we honor all those who have served our country. Earlier this year we were able to help welcome Pfc. Willard "Bud" Jenkins back home. It was a reminder of what these men and women do for us ever single day and how our country will never forget.

Miners Village, formerly Shingletown, was founded in 1854 by 4 men who decided to start a coal company and take advantage of immigrants to make tons of money. (can't argue with history) However, as terrible as it's origins were, this is a beautifully preserved monument to the blood, sweat and tears that went into building our nation.
