"Vaccine hesitancy has been identified as a foreseeable roadblock to widespread immunization against COVID-19, but pharmacists can help alleviate patient concerns." A heavy majority of pharmacists plan to or have already received their coronavirus vaccine, according to a survey last week conducted by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). The concern is that in May 2020, research showed only about half of Americans are willing to receive the vaccine. The rising confiden...ce in pharmacists has helped Americans become less hesitant of the vaccine. The coronavirus vaccine has been distributed for over a month, yet about 60% have successfully been used according the the NY Times. There has been some success in a few states including West Virginia and North Dakota both giving out over 81% of their doses as of last Friday. So why are they successful when others are not?
