For all families and children that are registered for this Saturday's Halloween Parade in the Adams Township Community Park; the parade route is shown below. We are asking all participants to arrive early between 1:00 P.M.-1:30 P.M. to park your vehicles along the parade route, check-in and get your costume contest number. Spectators do not have to register for the event and will be directed where to park by our Public Works Department once arrived at the park. The parade wi...ll begin at 2:00 P.M. SHARP at the Veterans Pavilion ! A parent/guardian must be present and walk in the parade if their child is six years old or younger. The parade will end at the Rotary Pavilion with treat bags and awards for the costume contest. Zimmerman Family Farms will be selling food and refreshments during the event and will be located near the Rotary Pavilion and school house. Please note that all entrances/exits to the park will be shut down once the parade begins and reopened once the parade ends. It is recommended to arrive early and no later than 1:40 P.M. Something is brewing at the Adams Township Community Park ! Children ages 12 and younger are invited to a Halloween Parade in the Park on October 31st at 2:00 P.M. while also keeping social distancing in mind. Parade Details:... Check-in and line-up will begin at 1:30 P.M. at the Veterans Pavilion (located to the right of the Municipal Building near the baseball and soccer field). A parent/guardian will need to be present and walk in the parade if your child is 6 years old or younger. Participants and spectators will be directed by Public Works to park their vehicles apart from others along the parade route. There will be a costume contest with local judges. Prizes will be given at the end to participants with the Most Original, Scariest, Funniest, Most Creative and Best Group Costumes. The parade will begin at the Veterans Pavilion; led by our local emergency services past the Municipal Building, into the large parking lot, past the T-Ball Fields and end in the parking lot near the Rotary Pavilion. Treat bags donated by Mars Bank and Giant Eagle will be given to all participants in the Rotary Pavilion at the end of the event. This event is complimentary.
