ASI will be canceling Home Delivered Meals tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 11th. We have rescheduled meal delivery to Friday, Feb. 12th. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at 724-349-4500.

Cold weather is in the forecast for a while yet! It is important that older adults take precautions in keeping safe and warm!

Aging Services, Inc. would like to remind older adults to not share their personal or financial information if someone calls, texts, or emails them promising access to the vaccine for a fee! Medicare.gov also warns that seniors must be alert for scammers trying to steal their Medicare Number. Remember that Medicare covers the vaccine at no cost to you, so if anyone asks you for your Medicare Number to get early access to the vaccine, you can bet it’s a scam.

The Social Centers are now open. Lunches will be served at the center or will be available for pick-up between 11 am-Noon. If you wish to order a meal, you must call the center one business day before, by noon. For more information, you can contact your local social center or call ASI at 724-349-4500.

Aging Services, Inc. wants everyone to know that the Two Lick Valley Social Center has some amazing people! Their ongoing acts of kindness, touch the lives of many in our community. Even in the midst of a pandemic, they have continued to donate their time and resources to bring comfort to others. Center Participant Judy Hill recently made a beautiful afghan lap blanket to donate to a patient at the Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Indiana. Other Center Participants keep their fingers busy by making hats for newborns to donate to the IRMC Maternity Center. Pictured here is Patty Woods displaying the hats.
