Doug Robinson: My name is Doug Robinson, I’m a mid-Atlantic field recruiter with US Xpress. When I came to All-State it just felt right. I like the idea of the program, um, to where they covered the majority of what I was going to need to know to be a safe driver coming right out of school. Kevin McGuire: There’s probably a hundred different schools in the northeast. I only operate currently with two of them and its All-State’s here and in Pennsylvania. Not only is it the ed...ucation that they get, if someone is putting the time and effort into taking the long class, I know that they really want to be in this business. David Snyder: Well how I feel All-State has separated is because I’m kind of a graduate myself, uh, so I know the training here, I know they’re very well trained. It’s a course that’s not a 3 to 5-8-week course. I know they are going to be very well trained over a period of time. Adam Hoffman: Most truck driving schools will teach a person how to drive a truck, it’s the company’s responsibility to teach that person how to be a truck driver. A program like All-State is getting them that much closer to what we need as in how we’re going to train them to be a truck driver. Nicole Howard: Our corporate office accredited our curriculum, so, um, All-State does a great job in training them for what they need to know to drive the truck and we actually prefer that they come out of school without any, maybe, bad habits or anything that like, and we like to train our own, so having that um, you know, relationship with All-State has been great. They teach them how to drive the truck, and do a great job, and then we teach them what we want them to know to represent Eby-Brown.
