Griffin is a well behaved gentleman for grooming. He is a stunning Irish Setter who only gets a bath & sanitary trim. He very much loves hanging out with mom and dad at work!

Fergie really loves mud! So much so that I had to take her straight to the tub, haha! If theres one thing I've learned about goldens, it's that they all love playing in mud. She is quite the sweet girl too.

Good afternoon everyone! This morning I have a good read on shaving double coated dog breeds. I used to get people all the time who thought shaving was the key to shedding.... When in fact, it is probably the worse thing that can be done for them. The concerns on shaving are as follows: it prevents cool air from getting to the skin greater risk for sunburn and overheating health concerns arise, such as hot spots The most important thing you can do for you double coated doggie is brush, brush, brush! Did I mention brushing? Not only is this important for double coats but also smooth coats, because smooth coats will mat very easily. (Cation Please do not bathe your dog if they have matting, this can and will lead to the mats sucking tighter to the skin; seek professional help) Frequent, daily brushing and regular visits to the salon can help keep your double coated doggie comfortable.
