You guys always asked us for the recipes, but we did not yield. The truth is, us kids don't have them. Even we have had to piece together our own formula through trial and error...enjoying the process along the way. So it's great to hear that some of our former patrons are doing the same and recreating the fare! Now if anyone wants to take a stab at tamales, we'd be happy to taste test for you.

Amigo Mio Fans and Friends: With a heavy heart, we regret to announce that Amigo Mio will not be reopening and is officially closed. It has been a pleasure serving you for the past 32 years and we will miss all of our customers dearly. We are fortunate to have met so many fantastic people and developed lasting customers and friendships. Please share with us your Amigo Mio memories!

Thank you to all of the patrons who contacted us to as how we are doing. The family is doing well and although Amigo Mio is temporarily closed, we hope to reopen soon.
