After the impact of Hurricane Ida, about 2 dozen of our Enlivant family at Terrebonne Place in Houma, Louisiana suffered significant property damage or the total loss of their homes. And despite their own circumstances they chose to stay behind and help evacuate residents to safety. As this selfless group works to rebuild, we're sharing the opportunity with you to help us make sure we care for them the way they care for our residents.

Today we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a vital leader of the American civil rights movement and a catalyst for change, racial equality, and justice for all. Dr. King's leadership brought about meaningful progress and his enduring message is a reminder of the importance of servitude. Dr. King once proclaimed to a crowd in Alabama, Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" His call-to-action is more relevant now... than it has ever been for our Enlivant community. We have a shared responsibility to help end the pandemic and create a sense of inclusion and belonging for all residents and employees. As an act of service, we call on you to help us protect our communities and each other, and do your part in getting the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to you. We are committed to being the change we want to see in this world. We hope you can spend a few minutes today reflecting on Dr. King's message of peace and equality and bringing these ideas to life alongside us. #MLK

Click below to read a letter from our CEO Jack Callison and Medical Advisor Dr. Jonathan Evans about our ongoing commitment to transparency and emerging from this stronger, safer, and healthier.
Enlivant stands with the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living, American Seniors Housing Association, Argentum, and other industry leaders in asking that our residents and staff receive prioritization for the COVID-19 vaccine.
