We celebrated #InternationalDayOfPeace by making pin wheels with our families and friends, practicing peaceful interactions, and by sharing a special snack. How did you celebrate?

Our Operations Director, Jen Leck, celebrated 20 years of dedication to Angels' Place. We honored her with a party, cake, and lots of presents at our Organizational In-Service meeting. Congratulations!

We celebrated one of our Pre-K friends’ fifth birthday also known affectionately as his whole birthday yesterday!

This summer we celebrated the graduation of four Pre-K friends who all excitedly started kindergarten over the past week. Each of the children left our program fully prepared and ready to embark on a new journey in life. Even as we will miss them greatly, we are filled with joy to know Angels' Place played a key role in their early education.

Our North Side students wrote a book! With the help of their teachers, the children illustrated and wrote the story about how "We Are Team Friends". If you are interested in buying a copy you can call 412.321.4447 to receive additional ordering instructions.

Continuing with the holiday spirit, the Pre-K children read What Star is This? and learned about the night baby Jesus was born in a manger. Then they matched the characters in the story to their Nativity set.

The kids enjoyed playing out in the winter wonderland this week during Pittsburgh's first big snowfall of the year!

The older toddler classroom had a blast today when they read the story of and sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. We love to get in the holiday spirit at Angels' Place!
