I’ll be going at Clay Cake full-bore (literally) this weekend now that I have pin pointed targeted areas. I want to fully open and excavate the rear of target 2 this weekend, and hopefully complete a shallow channel to target 3, the privy sized depression ahead of me. Dust masks get uncomfortable and sweaty, and handkerchiefs don’t filter enough dust, so I came up with a comfortable hybrid of the 2! I have the main washable charcoal filter from my mask, covered by 2 disposable filters (holes reversed), with both placed together in my handkerchief. I’ve been using it this way for the last few weeks, and it’s definitely more comfortable than before, and works great at stopping the fine dust particles in Clay Cake. Believe it or not, this is the easiest way to get out of the rear entrance to Clay Cake! To get in, I simply reverse the process and stick my leg in first. Just have to watch what I eat and stay flexible I suppose- don’t want to get stuck!
