When we are in a crisis, like we are in now, it is normal to be in "go mode" also known as sympathetic activation, where we do more and feel less. This is a coping skill to get us out of a dangerous situation and completely normal for a short term problem. Two weeks? Sure, we can push through and pull up the bootstraps. With conversations about quarantines lasting longer many are feeling overwhelmed. The situation we are currently in with COVID-19 is not something we can get... out of in the short term. The normal coping skill of doing is not sustainable. I created a short video to talk about what to do so you can run this emotional and physical marathon we are in to lessen the fallout for you and your families.
