Today we taught a virtual class of 120 registrants working in PA Victims' Services, about supporting autistic teens who have been victims of crime. Turnout was great, and the discussion - about things like requesting that courts allow written vs. verbal testimony, or how better interoception may help with healing - were super on point. We are proud of these awesome professionals who do the hard emotional jobs they do. Thank you PCAR for having us "in" to talk today! For more info on PCAR, please visit: https://pcar.org/
Join us for our first virtual workshop of 2021! We’ll be hosting Introduction to Autism next Wednesday, January 6th. Pre-registration for this FREE workshop is required to receive the zoom link.

Thank you so much for providing resources and support, enabling us to partner with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and surrounding community departments, in developing and teaching safer interaction techniques since 2016. We were very glad to meet virtually with Senator Casey's office related to the bill's content, then sign on as supporters of the Safe Interactions Act (https://www.casey.senate.gov//safe-interactions-act-one-pa). We wouldn’t be able to do this kind of work without you and your support. To help this continue, please consider donating here: http://weblink.donorperfect.com/autismconnection Please share this news with your networks and encourage friends and family to contact their federal senators to communicate your support for this Act.
