I see so many posts that say goodbye to 2020 an awful year. It was a rough rough year...so here is a little video of pics from all the community giving our wonderful customers and staff did through Bar Avalon’s Give Get Love! Yes, everyone was angry at something this year. But whatever you were angry at.. it gave you something to be passionate and fight for or against! Yes! Businesses had to adapt, revamp and modify ...but now they have made it to the new year and their curr...ent business model is expanded! We had to spend more time at home ...but now our halls and rooms have more laughter and tears, our kitchens have seen more meals prepared and we have probably all learned a few things about each other both good and bad that we didn’t know before. For me spending my first New Years Eve at home in 19 years and seeing my kids more was actually a highlight. But the biggest thing was seeing more community on Gay Street than I can ever remember before! Happy 2021 yes we are glad 2020 is gone but there we’re definitely some good lessons not to be forgotten! That may have been the toughest shift next to the food bank donation dinner I have done in many years! Happy New Year hope you enjoyed it...if we messed up call me in 2021 and I will make it right best I can!

Here is a little sunshine in an otherwise dreary day! Some video of our dropping hundo tips to servers the other day on the last day of indoor dining. Bar Avalon will be closed Monday & Tuesday - Wednesday & Thursday will be take out weather permitting check Facebook ... -Friday, Saturday & Sunday back at the take out We are accepting donations of gift cards for our families all week. We are also still taking xmas Eve 7 fishes orders, xmas brunch and xmas dinner orders through out this week. Thanks JBL

I’m a little late with this post. Part of the Avalon charity work is for the consumer to know 100 percent of their money or donation went to the cause as described and or being able to see an end result. During our 4 hour toys for tots drive we asked people to buy $20 gift cards of which we would use $10 to go and help another restaurant. ... Kildares had shut its doors for the month of December or until it could resume indoor dining and we tried to help a little with purchasing $580 in Kildare gift cards.
