We did it! The Bailey Family of Companies set a goal of raising $7,000 for the United Way of York Countyand in 24 days that goal was met! The money will be used to find solutions & fund programs that improve the lives of people in York County. Contributions were made by full-time, part time and even furloughed employees. Ashley Kooser Bailey (General Manager) promised all employees that if they met their goal of $7,000 she would personally sit in a dunk tank to be dunked by employees. Well, who is working on their pitching skills?!?! Employees will have a chance to dunk Ashley during the Bailey’s Carnival themed lunch celebration on Thursday, 11/5 from 11:30-1pm. Last week we donated our United Way of York County bus to travel around York County and visit some project sites for #DayOfActionYork, the largest single-day volunteer event in York County! United Way pulled together nearly 300 volunteers at 39 different nonprofit organizations to make an impact. We were able to stop by Leg Up Farm, York County SPCA, and the lunch pick-up at the York Revolution (hello, Downtown!), and even sneak in stops at CGA Law Firm & Brewery Products to thank their teams for supporting United Way.
